view Abstract and Download Abstract : This paper deals with nonlinear dynamic systemswith given boundary conditions on control inputs. Theproblem can be considered as ordinary dynamic optimizationproblem with defining control inputs as constraints on theboundaries. Then the problem can be solved by using direct orindirect numerical method. However, when the problem hasconstraints on the boundaries, the difficulty arises since theproblem contains more boundary conditions compare with thehighest order on the dynamic equations of motion (differentialequations). Therefore, the problem is reconsidered byapplying both direct and indirect jerk equations which allow
assigning more ordinary boundary conditions since the highestorder of the necessary conditions have been increased by theorder of one. Both problems are solved in this paper by usingdirect numerical method and the comparisons have been made. |
