view Abstract and Download Abstract : In military application, rocket launching platform of multiple launcher rocket system (MLRS) isextremely required high stability and precision movement mechanisms. Correctly, moving to assignedfiring angle, obtained from fire control system, will result in good target hitting. However, platformvibration caused from continuous rockets firing will dramatically reduce the shooting accuracy, especiallyin case of unguided rocket. This paper presents a 3 degrees of freedom dynamic system simulation ofunguided MLRS for launching platform stability study at various firing angles, using MATLAB. Thesimulation results reveal that the firing angle directly affects the platform vibration characteristic. For allexamined firing angles, the launching system will reach the steady state after 2 seconds of firing. Theoutcomes from this research will be lately used to improve the rocket fire control system under vibrationsituation.
