Abstract : This paper deals with nonlinear dynamic systems with and without given boundary conditions on control inputs whileconsidering objective function as a minimum jerk. However, the comparison with a minimum energy has been done in order to
show some advantage and disadvantage between minimum energy and minimum jerk while considering the problem withgiven boundary conditions on control inputs. The solutions show that the nonlinear problem chosen as example here in thispaper has the same solution from both minimum energy and minimum jerk while given boundary constraints on control inputs. Moreover, the problems with given boundary conditions on control input have less cost if the energy is considered as anobjective function.
